The State’s Domain: The NC Map Act

Above is a radio interview with Attorney Matthew Bryant of Hendrick Bryant Nerhood Sanders & Otis LLP with the Charlotte NPR station 90.7 FM WFAI

There’s an article and radio interview discussing the legal issues and effects of North Carolina’s Map Act statute and the inverse condemnation claims.

The use by the NCDOT of North Carolina’s Map Act has currently been ruled an inverse condemnation taking against property owners in Shelby (US 74 Bypass in Cleveland County), Winston-Salem (Northern Beltway Forsyth County), Raleigh (Wake Southern Expressway 540), Greensboro (Guilford Urban Loop), Fayetteville (Cumberland County Bypass)

Property owners affected by the Map Act Corridors should call the attorneys at Hendrick Bryant at 336-723-7200 to recover monies for damages caused by the Map Act.
